Rest in Love

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Hello blog readers! Two weeks, and I’ve missed you. As always, God has been dealing very lovingly with me. One of the most wonderful things we can all do, is rest in His love. It’s so simple that it almost seems unreal. But, if we learn to trust in His love, we can live full of joy and peace, even in difficult circumstances.

He loves us.

It sounds simple… But those 3 words are why we have a place prepared for us in heaven.

He loves us.

Ours sins, and the penalty for those sins are washed away because He paid it all on the cross. He loves us.

He transforms our hearts and thinking when we submit ourselves to Him — not forcing us to live for Him — but helping us desire to live for Him because He loves us. Don’t worry about fixing yourself. Give your heart to Jesus, and He does the rest.

Ezekiel 36:26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

He never runs from the hurt, broken, or weak. He runs to them because He loves us.

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

We can freely speak our hearts to Him, and He listens because He loves us.

Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

We don’t have to fear death, because He loves us.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We can have a real, intimate relationship with Almighty God!!!!!! We become His Children through Jesus. How exciting!!! Because He loves us!!!

Ephesians 1:5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

You don’t have to do ANYTHING to earn His love. You CAN’T do anything to earn His love. He loves you.

When the enemy tries to make you feel shame for your mistakes, rest in God’s love for you. Nothing you could ever do is too great for his forgiveness. Jesus already paid the price for you. He loves you.

Accept that He loves you. He died for your sins because you are worth saving in His eyes. God finds you worthy. Praise Him!

Colossians 1:12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

In your heart, receive His love. Believe that He died for you to be saved (this is called saving faith), and you will be saved. Heaven is a free gift to all who have faith in Jesus. You will have eternal life in heaven with Him when you trust in Jesus for your salvation. Have faith in Him, and be welcomed into His family.

Galations 3:26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
